D to A · 55/90rp to 63.75/70rp
I graduated from YIJC with 55/90rp and a D in H2 math when I decided to retake my A levels while serving NS. I believed that I could do it, but was limited by my circumstances and poor mindset. Luckily, I came across Ember Education's free trial services and thought it would do no harm to attend a class.
From day one, Ember understood my position immediately, from the years of accumulated foundational misconceptions, to the time and energy constraints I would face as an NSF private candidate. They did not just teach me, which was still done exceptionally, but also made sure to address the core limiting beliefs in my mindset. They met me where I was and printed practices for me to do day by day while in camp, and always made time for my endless questions.
As my proficiency improved, so did their expectations heighten, and in the end, that mindset of high expectations for myself carried over into my other subjects, bringing me to 63.75/70rp and an A in H2 maths upon my retake. I can vouch for Ember's classes for anyone who feels that they are capable of more.
