I joined Ember because the jump from chemistry in secondary school to H2 Chemistry in JC caught me off guard. Going from straight A1s in secondary school to an E in JC came as a shock to me, even though this is a common experience. No matter how much I mugged, there were some concepts I simply could not understand. I felt something had to be done.
Initially I joined more popular centres, but faced the struggle of always learning different topics than what I did in school, which worsened, not improved, my workload. Finding out about Ember's JC-specific classes was game-changing.
Ember broke down H2 Chemistry concepts in ways that would be absorbed best by a fresh JC student, making the lectures in school seem almost obsolete. Having experienced such attentiveness and hands-on teaching from Ember Education, I stayed till A's and eventually got an A, thanks to the countless hours spent going through their personalised resources and reassuring me that I was on the right path. I strongly recommend Ember to all.
